Cookie press

This is a really old cookie press that we purchased at Lakewood Antiques years ago. I was told that it was from the Netherlands, but it really looks more Indonesian to us. It’s hand-carved and quite beautiful. The handle is either a turtle or fish head. The wood is lovely and the finish is quite warm. It measures approximately 16" in length. You could actually use this press or hang it on the wall as art like we did.
